About Ste
At the heart of Infinity Illuminations is a lifelong passion for light, music, creativity and connection.
From a young age, Ste was the one in his family everyone turned to when something needed fixing. His curiosity and talent for making things work led to a makeshift workshop in the garden shed, where imagination first met invention.
As a teenager, that passion evolved when he and his brother secretly transformed the walk in wardrobe that sat between their bedroom and their parents’ room into a makeshift sound studio. What was once a wardrobe soon became a full blown sound proof recording booth, complete with a glass window, cleverly concealed behind a poster to hide it from Mum and Dad! It was creative chaos at its finest and the first real glimpse of the imagination and ingenuity that would one day become his career.
After leaving school, Ste qualified as an electrician, then pursued a National Diploma in Music Technology, blending technical skill with creativity. His career took him into the world of design, fabrication and bespoke signage, crafting custom pieces and illuminated installations for major companies and exhibitions.
Then in August 2022, our daughter saw a video of an American light show on YouTube and asked “Dad, can you do that?” Ste’s answer was simple…“Yes love.” And just like that, the seed was planted.
By December 2022, our home had been transformed into a fully synchronised, musical dazzling light show. What began as Ste's creative experiment soon became a community tradition, lighting up the street and the hearts of everyone who came to see it.
For three magical years, the show grew. More songs, more props, more sparkle and so did its audience. But as our family grew too, we made the heartfelt decision to pause the show in 2025 to reclaim our December evenings for time together with our three girls.
But that pause gave birth to something even brighter.
Combining Ste’s technical ability and his girlfriend Jacqueline’s business vision, Infinity Illuminations was born. A family brand dedicated to designing, fabricating and installing bespoke light creations that bring wonder, emotion and togetherness.
The power of illumination, music and passion has always created magic for us and now, we want to create it for you.
The story behind our logo
When it came to creating the Infinity Illuminations logo, we wanted it to be more than just a design, it had to mean something.
The infinity symbol was a natural choice. It represents endless possibilities, creativity without limits and the connection between light, music and emotion, all the things we’re passionate about bringing to life.
The sparkle in the centre carries layers of meaning for us. It represents the twinkle of lights, the flash of a welding spark, the magic of a moment.
When we added the rainbow colours, it instantly reminded us of Coldplay, a nod to our story, our shared love of music and the joy and colour we want to bring into people’s lives. We won’t bore you with all the soppy details but let’s just say, every element of that logo carries a little bit of us. Because for us, light isn’t just what we make, it’s what brought us together.
